Rhizome Diary is an ongoing personal account of ReBoot, an effort to strengthen connections among artists, arts-related projects and cultural organizations in the cities and townships of Waterloo Region.
ReBoot Shift #1 took place in Kitchener on Saturday May 3 2014.
Part of the purpose is to develop a legitimate voice for the arts in this region, and to set the stage for concerted action.

Do you mean here&now|now&then, or Rhizome Diary? No style sheet for either. h&n|n&t is meant to be a place where I can post my own reflections, but guest articles are always welcome. RD was originally launched for posting material for CEI’s Grand Social. They were going to pay me for submitting a regular post, but then they terminated the contract of their founding CEO, and there was no one left who knew about the arrangement. Part of the purpose was to make it clear that whatever happened with WR Arts Reboot / Arts Together, there was no intention to compete or overlap with CEI programs and strategies, but to complement and facilitate their work by providing a collective point of communication with the regional arts community organized as a “do-ocracy”, to facilitate working in concert with one another across disciplines and geographic locations.
